Hello Blogger Friends!
Wasn't it just March 31 the other day, and we concluded our last writing challenge?
Somehow it has become summer, and here we go again!
To get you in the mood for my July series, I’d like to invite you to watch the following video (not by me):
10 cities so beautiful you need to see them before you die.
I think they forgot to mention that the list is limited to European countries. Also they forgot to include a few in my humble opinion (Amsterdam, London, Athens and Madrid).
Anyway. One of the top ten is Prague, and you're in luck, I am going to use this month to tell you about our recent trip to Prague, Czech Republic.
Posts are gong to include a bit of everything: sights, architecture, food, economy, history, culture and sports. In-between you will find something quirky or a real-life story.
Are you excited?
I am :-)
PS: Last April I used the writing challenge to (dis)prove if Zurich, Switzerland, checked all the boxes of every European city's map. I didn't see enough of Prague over all to comment on the map again, but boy, do a few attributes totally apply:
Postcardy old town, cobblestone alley, lovable old bridge, museum, St. Tourist Trap's Cathedral, museum and some kind of tower, just to name to most obvious ones.

Oh fun! I love that map. :) And Tamara, it's great to see you again. Looking forward to learning about Prague. You have been such a good source of information about places I am sure I will never see in person.
ReplyDeleteHi Tamara! I am looking forward to learning more about Prague from you! I would love to be able to travel the world one day and love watching YouTube travel videos. I will check this video out later.
ReplyDeleteThoroughly enjoyed the map! And can't wait to hear about your adventures!
ReplyDeleteHey Tamara, lovely to “e-meet” you! 🤗 Prague is one of my favourite cities in the world! The first time I stepped foot in Prague was my birthday, in the winter of 2007. And while we were there, one night, we were in the clock tower square, and a part of the clock fell! I have been back a couple of other times since, and have a trip planned again for next winter! Can’t wait to read more of your posts. 🤗
ReplyDeleteSorry, only now I realised that my post was anonymous… 🫣 See you again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteDani (who spent her birthday in Prague and was there when a part of the clock fell off the tower 😃)
