Elf on the Shelf, Season 2023 - Episode 5

Almost there! This is what happened last week: Our elves, Cookie and Biscuit attended a WHAM! concert because "Last Christmas" is one of their very favorite Christmas songs. Andy and George had some interesting backup singers. Biscuit performed the "saw an elf in half" trick, and they found out that Harry and Marvin - the wet bandits from the Home Alone movie - have escaped...

This final week Biscuit was messing - I mean "thinking outside the box" with Cookie while playing Tic-Tac-Toe

I love it when our elves make themselves useful 😎
The other day a nightstand lamp broke. They disposed of it, cleaned up and set up a replacement 💡

Sleeping in while the rest of us has to clean up, cook and decorate for tonight’s family Christmas party 🌲🎁🌟🍷🎅🏼

Hanging out on the drying rack now that the hockey 🥅 🏒 gear is on Christmas break.

Annual reminder to getting ready for the Spengler Cup. Unfortunately on Day 1 Ambri lost, but Team Canada 🇨🇦 came through. Oh, and our dear friend @carlklingberg had to take an early shower.

Another annual reminder to write those thank you notes to Colin's sponsors. He skated 44 laps at this year's fundraising event.

This concludes Elf on the Shelf Season 2023. Late last year I joined a Facebook Group where members ask for and share ideas, and there's been some crazy stuff, but also a lot of cool things.

Category "Elves create major messes and waste food" aka "I am like WHY?"

Category "people with busy lives go beyond to create fun and magic" such as this princple somewhere in the Midwest who sat on the school's roof, dressed as an Elf, greeting the students.

Either way, I hope you had fun following our elves antics. Not sure what is going to happen next year. I know I say this every year...

  1. Such clever and cute poses! ☺ But where do you find the time? I wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year, or, as they say in Germany, Guten Rutsch! 🎉🥂🍾
